Vilakkath Plywoods Private Limited is based right out of Vilakkath House in Rayamangalam. We are in the Perumbavoor area, which everyone knows is a big hub for timber and wood stuff. Our address is Rp 11/240. It started small and we just kept at it over the years. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. It’s just us working with plywood every day. The yard gets dusty and there’s always the smell of wood in the air, which we’ve gotten used to by now. People come here from all over Ernakulam when they need stuff for building. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading sheets. It’s hard work and the rain sometimes slows us down, but we manage. Perumbavoor has a lot of competition, but we just stick to what we know. The office is right there in the building, nothing too stylish, just a place to sit and do the billing. We don't have a marketing team or anything. It's just the staff here making sure the orders go out. Sometimes we run out of certain sizes, but we usually get more in pretty quick. If you’re heading towards Rayamangalam, you can find us easily enough. We’ve been part of the local community for a long time and plan to stay that way. The wood business is all we have ever done, and we just keep doing it.
