World Door Trade Center

World Door Trade Center is located on Convent Road. If you know the area, you know it can be a bit of a walk, but we are easy to spot once you get close. We have all kinds of doors leaned up against the walls and stacked in the back. It’s a heavy business, literally. My back usually aches by the end of the day from moving things around. Convent Road has its own character, and being here feels like being part of the local fabric. We don’t have a flashy showroom with bright lights. Instead, it’s more of a warehouse feel where you can see the actual products without any filter. It gets dusty, and the floor is concrete, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with doors all day. We spend a lot of time measuring and checking the wood or metal to make sure it’s what it should be. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to move things outside, so we end up cramped inside waiting for it to clear. We just take it one day at a time. People come in looking for something specific, and we do our best to find it in the stacks. It’s a lot of manual labor and honest talk. We’ve been at this for a bit, and we plan to stay right here on Convent Road.
