Thanathu Food & Spices Private Limited

Our place is in the George Muthedan Building, located in Ayathupady, Koovapady. The door number is XIX/210. Thanathu Food & Spices is a small company, and we really stick to the basics. Being in Koovapady, we’re surrounded by people who know their food, so we have to be careful with what we put out. The building is an old one but it has plenty of space for our spice grinders and packing tables. You can usually hear the machines humming from the street. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but most people know where the George Muthedan Building is. We’ve got a small crew here who mostly live within walking distance. We don't spend money on big signs or glossy brochures. We'd rather just spend that time making sure the spices are sorted right. The air inside always smells like cumin and turmeric, which takes some getting used to if you’re just visiting. We deal with a lot of local farmers and traders. It’s all about those face-to-face handshakes and honest talk. We’ve had our ups and downs like any other small business, but we’re still here. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep our customers satisfied with what we send out from Ayathupady. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it, and we happen to quite enjoy the process of grinding and packing.
