Our spot is over at unit A2 in Shinas Plaza, number 41/2701, on Paramara Road in Ernakulam North. It’s a pretty easy spot to reach, though the traffic near the station can be a bit much during rush hour. The plaza itself is a bit of a hub for various small businesses. Our space is filled with rolls of vinyl, metal frames, and all kinds of tools scattered around. It’s a busy atmosphere with a lot of movement. We usually have a radio playing local stations to keep things from getting too quiet. The floor is mostly covered in bits of tape and plastic backing. We have a few computers near the front for the design side of things, but the back is where the real construction happens. It’s not a sterile environment. There are fingerprints on the glass and stacks of scrap metal in the corner. We spend a lot of time measuring things twice and cutting them once. Sometimes we stay late when a big job needs to get out the door, and the street outside gets quiet. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the Ernakulam North area of Cochin over the years, but we’ve stayed right here. It’s a practical location for us. We just come in, handle the work, and make sure everything is sorted out before we close up for the night. That’s how a typical day goes for us.
