Shreya Marble Crafts

If you’re driving along NH 47 near Muttam, you’ll find us right near the Indus Maruthi showroom. Shreya Marble Crafts is based here in Kalamasseri, and we’ve been at this spot for several years. Our yard is usually full of different types of stone and finished marble pieces. It’s a dusty environment, but that’s just the nature of working with stone. We spend a lot of time cutting, polishing, and carving. It’s physical work that requires a bit of patience. We don't have a polished showroom with bright lights. Most of our items are displayed right where they were made, out in the open or under a simple shed. People stop by because they saw us from the highway or someone told them about our work. We aren't big on marketing or social media. We just focus on the craft itself. Some days the machines are running non-stop and the noise is quite something. The guys working here have calloused hands and a lot of experience. We take the raw blocks and turn them into something useful or decorative. It’s honest labor. We don't have a big corporate structure; it’s usually just a few of us managing the orders and the workshop. We’ve stayed here because the location is convenient for transport. It’s a straightforward business, and we like keeping it that way.
