Rasheed Motor Driving School

Perumbavoor is a busy place and we have been here at Rasheed Motor Driving School for a good while now. Our spot is right near the old RT office, which makes things easy when we have to deal with paperwork or take folks for their tests. Usually, the mornings start pretty early when the air is still a bit cool. We get all kinds of people coming in, some very nervous about sitting behind the wheel for the first time and others who just need to brush up on things. The cars we use have seen a lot of miles but we keep them running. Sometimes the traffic around Ernakulam gets a bit much, especially near the intersections, but that is just part of learning how to drive in the real world. You can hear the engines idling and the instructors giving quiet directions all day long. We don't have a fancy office with big glass windows, it’s just a practical space where people come to get a job done. The tea stall nearby is where we usually spend our breaks talking about the day's lessons or who almost hit a curb. It is a simple life here, just helping neighbors get their licenses and making sure they know how to handle the road without getting too worried. We like the routine of it and being a part of this little corner of the town.
