Mohans Motor Driving School

Mohans Motor Driving School is based in Kolenchery, right near the private stand in Ernakulam. We have been teaching people how to drive around these roads for a long time. Our office is a small room where we keep the records and handle the paperwork for licenses. The main part of the job happens out on the streets in our training cars. You have probably seen us driving slowly around the neighborhood with the "L" plates on. It takes a lot of patience to sit in the passenger seat while someone stalls the engine for the fifth time, but that is just part of the day. We work with all sorts of people, from teenagers getting their first license to older adults who finally decided they needed to learn. The area near the private stand is always busy, which actually makes for good practice once a student gets the hang of the basics. We do not have a fancy website or a big fleet of luxury cars. We just use reliable vehicles that are easy for beginners to handle. It is a practical business. We show up, meet the student, and spend the hour going over gears and mirrors. It gets dusty and hot some days, especially in the afternoon sun, but we just keep going. People in Kolenchery know us as the local place to learn. We just try to help people get comfortable behind the wheel and pass their test.
