P.S. Mission Hospital Maradu

Out in Maradu, Kochi, you’ll find P.S. Mission Hospital Maradu. We’re located right in the middle of the Maradu area in Ernakulam, which is a place that has changed a lot over the years. The hospital grounds are simple and functional. We don’t have any of those modern glass facades you see in the new parts of the city. It’s a series of older buildings that have been added to as needed. You can feel the age of the place in the hallways and the way the gardens have grown in. There’s a lot of green around the buildings, which is nice when the sun is beating down. We have people coming in from all over Ernakulam, not just the local Maradu neighborhood. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement—stretcher carts, staff in scrubs, and families waiting under the trees. We spend our days making sure everyone is where they need to be and that the daily tasks get finished. It’s not a quiet hospital by any means; there’s always a hum of activity and voices echoing in the corridors. We’ve been a part of this community for a long time, and the building reflects that history. We just keep doing our work, day in and day out, without much fanfare. It’s a big part of life for us here in Kochi, and we just take things one day at a time in the hospital.
