Lourdes Hospital

Lourdes Hospital has been a fixture here in Ernakulam for quite a long time now. Anyone who grew up around this part of the city knows exactly where we are. We are a big place with lots of different sections, and it can sometimes feel like a maze if you are new to the building. The staff is a mix of people who have been here for decades and some younger faces just starting out their careers. It is a busy environment every single day of the week. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do here. It is just a hospital where people go when they need help or are feeling sick. The parking area is almost always full, and the entrance is usually buzzing with people coming and going. We have doctors for almost everything, and the wards are always being cleaned or prepped for someone new. Life here is steady but very fast-paced. We deal with a lot of emergencies and routine visits too. Ernakulam is a fast-moving city, and we are right in the thick of it. We do not have a marketing department writing pretty stories about us. We are just the people who work the night shifts and do the morning rounds. The hallways are long and the lights stay on all the time. It is a community place, really. We see families from all over the district.
