Matheson Keells Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd.

Matheson Keells Enterprises is situated on Willingdon Island. Specifically, we are on Subramanian Road. Being on the island gives things a bit of a different feel compared to the city center. It’s a bit quieter in some ways but still very much a hub for business. We have our office here and we spend the day handling various enterprise tasks. It’s a lot of coordination with different people. The building we are in is older, but it has character. We get a bit of a breeze from the water sometimes, which is nice. Most of us have worked together for a long time, so we know each other's habits well. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea in the morning. Our desks are usually covered in files and ledgers. We don’t go in for the modern open-office look. It’s more of a traditional setup where everyone has their own space. Willingdon Island has its own pace of life, and we’ve grown to like it. It can be a bit of a trek for people to come visit us, but we don’t mind. Most of our work is done over the phone or through mail anyway. We just keep things moving steadily. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just running our business as best as we can. Every day is pretty much the same, and we’re okay with that. It’s a stable way to earn a living.
