Everything we do runs out of Binoy Michael’s place, Thazhathu Parathattel, in Marika. It’s a quiet area in Ernakulam. We do a mix of things here, focusing on green energy and farming. It’s an interesting combination because they actually go together quite well if you think about it. We have some land where we try out different farming methods. We also look at how to get energy in a cleaner way. It’s not a high-tech lab. It’s more of a practical setup in a rural part of the district. The house is 4/203, and that’s where the planning happens. We spend a lot of time outside looking at the sun and the plants. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls. We have dirt on our hands most of the time. Sometimes we run into problems with the equipment or the weather, but we just fix what we can and keep moving. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight. We just want to do our part here in Marika. People around here know Binoy and the work we are doing. It’s a local effort. We don't have a big advertising budget. We just show people what we’ve grown or what we’ve built. It’s a slow and steady way of working. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, but the farm always comes first. We just hope that what we do makes some sense for the future. It's a lot of learning as we go.
