Intercad Systems is up on the 7th floor of Alpha Plaza. The building is on KP Vallon Road in the Kadavanthara area. Since we are on the seventh floor, the elevator is pretty important, though it can be slow when everyone is arriving at once. Being up this high gives us a bit of a break from the noise of KP Vallon Road. It’s a standard office setup. We have our computers and servers and desks all laid out. It’s a bit of a walk from the main junction, but it’s a good neighborhood. We don't have a big reception area with a dedicated person just sitting there. Usually, whoever is nearest the door just says hello. It’s a busy place with a lot of clicking of mice and humming of machines. The lighting is just regular office tubes. We aren't trying to look like a Silicon Valley startup. We are just a local team in Kadavanthara. We eat our lunch in a small break area we put together. It gets the job done. Sometimes the trash cans get full faster than we expect, but we keep things moving. It’s a decent place to work and we’ve been in Alpha Plaza for quite a while now. We just handle the projects as they come in and try to keep everything running as it should.
