Ente Naadu Nidhi Limited is based in Room No. Xvii/1045J of the Maracheril Building. We are located right in Kothamangalam. The name of the company basically means "our land," which is how we feel about being here. We are a small financial office that works under the Nidhi rules. That means we mostly deal with our members who live nearby. It is a very simple operation. We don’t have a massive lobby or a bunch of receptionists. It’s just us in the Maracheril Building, handling the deposits and small loans that come through. Most of our work involves sitting down with people and going over their passbooks. We see a lot of familiar faces every week. Kothamangalam is the kind of place where word moves fast, so we just focus on doing our jobs right. We keep the paperwork organized and make sure every rupee is accounted for. It’s not the kind of job that makes headlines, but it is important for the families who use our services. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. If someone comes in with a question, we sit down and talk it through until they understand it. There’s no rush and no pressure. We are just local people working for other local people. That’s how we’ve always done it and it seems to work out fine for everyone involved. We just keep our heads down and do the daily accounting work.
