Our office is located at XV/900 on Thotungal Road in Perumbavoor. It’s a typical Kerala setting with plenty of greenery around if you look past the buildings. Emstem Technologies Pvt. Ltd. isn't some huge offshore center; we’re just a local tech firm trying to build things that work. The building we are in is easy to find if you know the road. We have a small group of developers and staff who show up every morning, usually after dealing with the local traffic or the rain. Perumbavoor can be a busy place, but our little corner on Thotungal Road stays relatively alright. Inside, it’s mostly computers, some messy desks, and a lot of wires. We spend a lot of time coding and talking about software problems. We don't have a marketing team to tell people how great we are. We just let the work speak for itself when it's finished. Lunch usually comes from one of the nearby spots, and we often eat together while talking about anything other than work. It’s an honest way to earn a living. We’ve been here for a bit now and have grown used to the pace of this town. It’s not Bangalore or Kochi, but we like it here. We just focus on the projects we have on our plates and try to make sure everything runs the way it’s supposed to for the people who use our stuff. We just take it day by day.
