Eloyz Ice Cream

Eloyz Ice Cream is right on the Angamaly Road in Aluva. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always cars and buses rushing past our door. We set up here because we figured people would want a break from the driving. The shop is just a basic room with our cooling units and a small counter. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. We spend most of our time keeping the floor clean because people track in a lot of dirt from the roadside. It’s a family-run thing, so you’ll usually see one of us sitting behind the counter reading the paper or checking the stock. We have a variety of cups and cones in the freezer. It’s not handmade or gourmet; it’s just the stuff people like to eat when it’s hot outside. We’ve had some trouble with the power lines in this area before, which is always a worry for an ice cream shop, but we’ve managed so far. We don’t bother with big ads. We just keep the sign out front lit up so people know we’re open. In the evenings, it gets a bit more relaxed when the commute dies down. We get to talk to the regulars who live around Aluva. It’s a decent spot and we’re happy to be here. Just a normal shop doing its thing every day of the week.
