E Smart Satellite & Telecommunications

Our office, E Smart Satellite & Telecommunications, is located in the GCDA Complex at Marine Drive. We are way up on the fourth floor, in unit OS-38. If you’ve been to Marine Drive, you know the building—it’s quite large and houses a lot of different government and private offices. Being on Shanmughom Road means it’s always lively outside. We spend our days dealing with satellite stuff and various telecommunication equipment. The office is a bit cluttered with wires, boxes, and tools, but that’s just the nature of the work. It’s not a showroom; it’s more of a workspace where we get things sorted. The walk from the parking area can be a bit long, and waiting for the elevators in the GCDA complex takes a minute, but once you’re up here, it’s a bit calmer. We have a few technicians coming in and out all the time, heading off to fix things or coming back from a job. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. We don’t have fancy furniture, just sturdy desks and shelves for all the gear. On rainy days, you can see the water hitting the windows from the sea side. We like being in this part of Cochin because everything is accessible. It’s just us, a few desks, and a lot of technical equipment. We keep busy and stay focused on whatever job is on the schedule for the day. There is always some piece of tech that needs checking or a phone line to test.
