Column Advertising

Column Advertising is situated on the second floor of the Vallanatu Building on St. Vincent Road, right in the Kacherippady Post area. Being on the second floor means we’re a bit removed from the immediate noise of the street, though you can still hear the traffic all day long. We’ve been operating out of this office for a good amount of time now. It’s not a particularly large space, so we have to be pretty careful about how we organize our desks and all the files we keep. We don’t have a big reception area or anything fancy; it’s just a functional workspace where we handle the planning and coordination for various advertising tasks. St. Vincent Road is always busy, and the building itself has a lot of people coming and going. We spend most of our time on the computer or talking through different ideas at the main table. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of materials delivered, and we have to stack things in the corners. We don’t use any corporate jargon or have big meetings; we just sit down and figure out what needs to happen next. It’s a modest setup that works for us. We’ve gotten to know the other people in the Vallanatu Building over the years, which makes it feel like a nice little community. We just focus on the work at hand and try to keep things simple and honest in everything we do here.
