Classic Furniture

We've been at the Mathew Classic Tower on Kaloor Kadavanthra Road for quite a while now. Most people around here just know us as Classic Furniture. It's not a fancy place, really. We spend most of our days moving sofas around or trying to find space for new dining tables that just arrived. The building is 36/2303, right near where everyone usually turns off. It gets pretty dusty in here sometimes with all the wood and fabric, but that is just how a furniture shop goes. My father started this and now I am the one opening the shutters every morning. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know which chair is actually sturdy and which one is just for looking at. Sometimes the traffic on Kaloor Kadavanthra Road is a nightmare, so we just sit here and drink tea until it clears up. People come in looking for something for their living room and we just show them what we have on the floor. It is a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes we scratch a finger or two on a sharp corner. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Kaloor, we just want to keep the lights on and make sure the tables we sell don't wobble. It's a simple life. We are right by the tower, you can't really miss the sign if you are looking for it.
