Down here in Nedumbal at 16/180, we spend most of our time dealing with cashews. Charm Cashewtech isn't some massive factory with robots everywhere, it’s more of a hands-on operation. We handle the sorting and the tech side of things to make sure the nuts actually come out looking right. Thottipal is a quiet spot, so we mostly just focus on the work at hand without much distraction. The building isn't brand new, but it does what it needs to do. Sometimes the machines act up or the power flickers, but we just get back to it. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to make sure the processing is done properly. People around here know us as the place that's always got a truck or two parked out front. It gets a bit dusty during the busy season, that's just how it goes with this kind of work. Our staff mostly live nearby and they know the rhythm of the place. We don't spend money on fancy brochures because we'd rather spend it on keeping the equipment running. It’s a simple business really. We take the raw stuff, put it through the process, and get it ready for the next stage. If you walk by, you'll hear the hum of the blowers and the sound of bags being moved around. That’s just a normal Tuesday for us and we like the routine.
