Cadillac Automation & Controls

Being right across from Najath Public School means our days are timed by the school bell. Cadillac Automation & Controls is on the second floor of 1062-C2 in Kalamassery. It’s a lively neighborhood in Changampuzha Nagar, and we’ve been here long enough to know most of the shopkeepers downstairs. The office isn't very big, and it’s usually packed with wires, controllers, and half-finished projects. It’s a bit of a technical mess, but we have our own system for finding things. We don't have a fancy waiting room for visitors. Usually, people just pull up a stool near one of the workbenches. The second-floor walk-up can be a bit tiring in the humidity, but we have a good view of the street from the window. We spend our time designing and fixing things, which means a lot of focus and not much talking. Kalamassery is a good place for a business like ours because there are so many factories nearby. We aren't some big multinational corporation with layers of management. It’s just a few of us who know what we are doing. We work until the job is finished, sometimes staying quite late when a project is due. It’s honest work and we like being part of this local community. The school kids outside are loud, but it keeps the energy up in the office during the afternoon slump. We just do our best to stay busy.
