Amma Cocomill Private Limited

We are located at Geetha Bhavan in Chirayinkeezhu. The building number is 493/d. This is out in Thiruvananthapuram, where there are plenty of coconut trees. That’s good for us because we run Amma Cocomill. It’s a lot of physical work and the place can get pretty loud when the machines are all running at once. We aren't some big industrial company with a lot of hierarchy. It’s just us working at the mill. We started this because we wanted to do something local. Chirayinkeezhu is a nice area, quite a bit slower than the main city. We know the people who live around Geetha Bhavan. Sometimes they stop by just to say hello. We don’t have a marketing department or a fancy logo. We just have our name and our work. The days are long and we usually end up quite tired. The smell of coconuts is everywhere, which we don’t mind at all. We handle everything ourselves, from the raw materials to the final product. It’s not always perfect and sometimes things break down. We just fix them and keep going. That’s how a small mill works. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to run a decent business and provide for our families. It’s a straightforward life and we are happy with it. Most of our days are spent right here at the building.
