Aikex Spice Extracts Private Limited

We are Aikex Spice Extracts and our office is up on the fifth floor of Heavenly Plaza. It’s in the Aikkarakudiyil Chambers in Kochi. Being on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly we are just looking at paperwork and spice samples all day. Kochi has always been about spices, so it felt natural for us to start a company here. We deal with spice extracts, which is basically taking the essence of things like pepper or ginger and putting them into a more usable form. It’s a bit technical, but we don't think of it that way. To us, it’s just about getting the smell and taste right. The plaza can be a busy place with people coming and going, but our little corner stays pretty focused. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We are just a private limited company trying to do good work from our office in Ernakulam. Sometimes the elevator in the plaza acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is quite a workout. Our desks are usually covered in small vials and sample bags. It’s not the most glamorous job, but we like the variety of smells that come through the door. We just show up, do the testing, and send out our extracts to whoever needs them.
