Suman Traders

Suman Traders is located right near the Gilakala Gate, on Vasantha Mahall Street. It is a busy part of the neighborhood where people are always rushing somewhere. Our shop at 45-63 is an old-fashioned trading spot. We deal with various goods that come in from the nearby areas, and our space is often crammed with sacks and boxes stacked up high. There is no air conditioning here, just the open door and the sounds of the street outside. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop by to see what we have in stock. The ledgers stay on the desk, and we still do a lot of things the old way, with a pen and a notebook. The street can be quite dusty, especially when the wind blows through the gate, so we are always wiping down the counters. It is not the kind of place you come for a fancy shopping experience. It is where you come when you need to get a bulk order of supplies or want to check the market price for something. We’ve seen the street change over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We just focus on the trade, making sure the quality is decent and the counts are right. It is a long day from start to finish, but it is what we know how to do best.
