Jaya Durga Traders

Our place, Jaya Durga Traders, is located over at 692-21 in Ratnappa Kumbhar Nagar. Chintalapudi is where we’ve always been based, and it’s a decent area for a business like ours. We mostly deal with the regular supply stuff that people in the neighborhood need on a daily or weekly basis. The shelves are usually pretty packed, and sometimes it gets a bit disorganized when a new shipment arrives and we haven't had time to move everything to the back yet. It’s mostly family running things here, so you’ll see the same faces every time you walk in. We open up early in the morning, usually before the sun gets too high, because that’s when most of the transport arrives. The building isn't brand new, and the floor has some scuffs from moving heavy crates around for years. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. It’s more about making sure we have what people are looking for when they stop by. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just keep going with the doors open for light. Ratnappa Kumbhar Nagar is a busy spot, so there is always noise from the street coming in. We’ve known most of our neighbors for years. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy. We just stock the items, handle the billing, and get on with the next day. Sometimes we sit outside on the benches when things get slow and watch the traffic pass by.
