Lokeshbandi

Eluru is a warm place, and our spot on Western Street is right in the middle of it. We’re tucked away in Seerla Brahmaiah Lane, not too far from the Vijaya Gas Godown. If you’re looking for us, that’s usually the landmark I tell people to look for. The address is 3C-2-4, but the lane is narrow, so you have to keep your eyes open. I’ve been around this part of Andhra Pradesh my whole life. Starting Lokeshbandi here was just the logical thing to do. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, except when the gas trucks are moving around. Our workspace is pretty humble. We’ve got a couple of desks and some old shelves for all our files. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine. There’s a ceiling fan that clicks a bit too loudly, but it keeps us cool enough to work. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything fancy like that. We just try to handle whatever comes our way each day. Sometimes we have tea with the guys from the next shop over. It’s a very local way of doing things. The internet can be slow when it rains, so we just take a break and wait it out. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way. We aren’t trying to change the world; we’re just trying to do our part right here in Eluru.
