Saahithy Mango Producer Company Limited

We are based in Karkardooma Village, right across from the primary school. It's a busy spot in East Delhi and can get pretty loud during the day. Most of what we do involves mangoes and the farmers who grow them. Dealing with fruit isn't always easy because things change with the weather and the markets. Some years are better than others, to be honest. We spend a lot of time on the third floor of this building handling the paperwork and organizing how the mangoes get from the trees to where they need to go. It is a lot of back and forth on the phone. People here know us as the mango company. We just try to get the work done. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place to sit and work. My desk is usually covered in notes about harvest dates and transport schedules. It gets really hot in Delhi, especially during the peak season when everything is moving fast. We work with a group of producers who have been doing this for a long time. They know their trees better than anyone. Sometimes the logistics are a headache, but that is just part of the job. We keep things simple here. If you come by, you’ll see we are just regular people trying to keep the business running smoothly. It's about getting the fruit out and making sure the growers have what they need. It isn't glamorous work, but it matters to us.
