Phoenix

Phoenix is located at Krishna Kunj on I C Road in the Bistupur area of Jamshedpur. We are very close to Hotel Centre Point, which is a big landmark that most people know. Our place isn't something you’d call high-end. It’s a local business that we run with just a few hands. Bistupur is a busy part of town, and we get a lot of people who are just passing through or working nearby. The building, Krishna Kunj, has its own history and we are just one part of it. We kept the interiors very plain because we didn't see the point in spending much on things that don't help with the food. The tables are sturdy and the chairs are comfortable enough for a quick meal. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which is the best part of the job. It’s nice to know people's names and what they usually order without them having to say it. Sometimes when it rains, the street gets a bit messy, but that doesn't stop us from opening up. We don't have any big slogans or marketing flyers. We just rely on people telling their friends about us. It’s a slow and steady way to live, but we like it. We show up every morning, get the kitchen started, and see who walks in through the door. It’s as simple as that. There is no corporate polish here, just us and the stove.
