Goutam Kumar Kundu

This is Goutam Kumar Kundu and I run the Kundu Medical Store over in Birsanagar. We are located in Zone Number 4, which is right in the heart of the Telco Colony area of Jamshedpur. It is a busy little spot, especially in the evenings when people are heading home from work and realize they need to pick up their prescriptions or some basic health supplies. The shop isn't very large, but we keep the shelves stocked with the usual medicines and first aid stuff people ask for most. I spend most of my day behind the counter, checking the stock and talking to the locals who stop by. It is a lot of standing around and waiting for deliveries to arrive, but I have gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years. Being near Telco means there is always movement around the store. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially with the buses and bikes, but inside it stays fairly organized. I do my own bookkeeping in the back when things quiet down in the afternoon. It is an honest living and the people in Birsanagar are good neighbors. We have been at this 831004 zip code for quite some time now, and most folks around here know exactly where to find the store when they need something for a fever or a scraped knee. It is just a simple, local medical shop serving the neighborhood.
