Our small agriculture business operates out of Haludbani, which is near Parsudih. Anima Paul looks after things at the Vidya Sagar Palli location. It is not a very big operation, just a few of us working on farming stuff every day. We have lived in this area for a long while and know the local ground and weather well. There is always something to do with the plants or the soil, so we stay busy. We do not spend much time on the computer or writing fancy letters to people. Most of our day is spent actually doing the work in the dirt. The neighborhood is quiet, and people know where to find us if they need anything related to our agricultural activities. We started this because we wanted to do something for ourselves and our families. It takes a lot of time to get things growing right. Sometimes the water supply is an issue, but we figure it out as we go. We are not trying to be some huge corporation with thousands of employees. We just want to provide what we can from our little spot here in Jharkhand. It is honest work. The office is really just a part of the house where we keep the records. We take it one day at a time, seeing how the season goes.
