Verma Tution

Verma Tution is run out of House Number 30 in the Vikash Nagar area of Sonari, Jamshedpur. If you find yourself in front of Viswakarma Apartment, you are basically looking at us. It is a quiet residential spot, which is actually quite good for teaching. We aren't a big, polished institute with a huge staff. It is a more personal setup where we help the local kids with their schoolwork and basic subjects. We started doing this because there were so many students in the neighborhood who needed a bit of extra attention after school. Our rooms are simple, just some chairs and tables and a place for the kids to write. We don't have any flashy boards or corporate branding. It’s just a place where we sit and work through the school books. Every afternoon, the kids start showing up after their school is over. We go through their homework and help them prepare for their upcoming tests. It is nothing too fancy. We just focus on the basics and make sure they get plenty of practice. Living and working here in Jamshedpur, you get to know the families around here pretty well. Sometimes we have tea with the parents when they come to pick up their kids. It is a small community feeling. We just take things one day at a time and try to help the kids do their best without putting too much pressure on them. That's just how we do things here in Vikash Nagar.
