Dalma Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our company is called Dalma Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are located in the East Singhbhum district, specifically out in Patamda, Jamshedpur. The main contact point is through the son of Ishwar Mahato in Post Boram. This area near the Dalma hills is where we do most of our work. It’s a beautiful place but the work is hard. We aren't a corporate office with people in suits. We are farmers and local residents who wanted to pool our resources. We spend a lot of time in Boram talking about the seasonal changes and what we should be planting. The paperwork for the company is kept at the house in Patamda. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here sometimes, but we like being close to the land we work on. We don't have any high-tech systems. Everything is done the old-fashioned way, with notebooks and face-to-face meetings. We know everyone in the village, and they know us. If there’s a problem with the harvest, we sit down and talk it out. It’s not a polished operation, and we make mistakes sometimes, but we always try to fix them. Being a producer company in a place like East Singhbhum means being part of the community. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day. There isn't any fancy equipment here, just people working together to make ends meet and support our local area.
