Khedi Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is a little group we put together here in Khedi. You can find us at Satish’s place—he’s the son of Ramchand. We are located in the 450117 area code. It’s a small place, and everyone knows everyone else. We all grew up farming these fields, so it made sense to start this company to help us manage our crops together. It isn’t anything flashy. We don't have a big sign or a receptionist. Usually, someone is just hanging out near the main building ready to talk about the latest harvest. We spend a lot of time discussing the weather and which crops are going to do well. Being a farmer is a lot of work, and sometimes it feels like you're doing it all alone, so having this company helps us feel a bit more connected. We handle everything ourselves, from the heavy lifting to the boring paperwork that comes with being a registered company. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We just want to make sure our families can keep farming for another generation. It’s about the soil, the seeds, and the hard work we put in every single day.
