Vsa Enterprise

Vsa Enterprise is located on G.S. Road in the Police Bazar area, which is pretty much the center of everything here in the East Khasi Hills. We are quite close to Don Bosco Square, so we see a lot of students and teachers walking by every day. The weather in Shillong can be quite unpredictable, so we often have the sound of rain drumming on the roof while we work. It’s a small enterprise, and we handle a bit of everything. The office is simple, with just the essentials like a couple of chairs, a desk, and some shelves filled with ledgers and files. We don’t go in for anything fancy or decorative. Most of our day is spent talking to people from the local community who drop in. The traffic on G.S. Road can get really backed up, especially when the weather is bad, so we spend a fair amount of time looking out the window at the cars. We are just a group of regular people trying to run a business in a busy mountain town. There’s no big corporate strategy here, just honest work and trying to keep our customers happy so they come back. We know the shopkeepers next door and we usually share a cup of tea in the afternoon. It’s a decent life, even if it gets a bit hectic during the peak tourist season when the streets are packed with visitors.
