Military Engineer Services

This is the Military Engineer Services office over in Shillong. We are based out of the Garrison Engineer section, right near Rin Cong. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, though work keeps us pretty busy behind the scenes. Being in Shillong means we deal with the weather quite a bit, especially when the rain starts coming down hard. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where the paperwork gets sorted and the maintenance schedules are figured out. We’ve been at this location for a while now. Most people who need us already know the way, but if you're new, looking for Rin Cong is the easiest way to find the turn-off. It’s mostly just about keeping things running smoothly around the garrison. There’s always something that needs fixing or a project that needs a bit of attention. We don’t really do much in the way of public displays. It's more about the day-to-day tasks that keep the infrastructure holding up. The staff here has seen a lot of people come and go over the seasons. We just keep our heads down and handle whatever comes across the desk. It’s a bit of a hike if you’re coming from the main city center, but we’re used to the commute. The air is a bit cooler up here, which is a nice change from the lower parts of town. We just stick to our routine and get the jobs finished as they come in.
