We are based over here in Jaiaw Lumbatemon, right at Mrs. Tiewlina Lyngdoh’s place. Shillong is a quiet enough spot most days, but we stay pretty busy with the management work we do. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything like that. We just have our desks set up and get to it every morning. Sometimes the rain gets heavy on the roof and it’s hard to hear each other, but we manage. People know where to find us if they need something handled. It’s mostly just us working through the paperwork and making sure everything runs the way it’s supposed to. We’ve been in this part of Meghalaya for a bit now. There’s no big secret to how we work. We just show up, drink some tea, and look at what needs doing for the day. Sometimes the internet is slow, or things take longer than we’d like, but that’s just how it goes here. We don't have a big front desk or a lobby with plants. It is just a practical space where we can sit down and focus on the management tasks people bring to us. If you’re walking through Jaiaw, you might miss us if you aren't looking for the house name, but we like it that way. It keeps things simple and honest. We just do the work and try to stay organized without making too much of a fuss about it.
