You can find us at Door No. 639/39 on the Mandapeta Bypass Road. We’re right near Edita Junction and sitting just beside the Madhavi Oil Plant. You can usually tell you're close because of the noise from our machines and the smell from the oil plant next door. Srk Engineering Works is a busy workshop. Most of the day, we are covered in grease and metal shavings. There’s always the sound of welding or grinding going on in the background. It’s a loud place and it gets pretty hot in the middle of the day. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you just walk into the shop and find one of us. We spend a lot of time fixing things or making parts that people need for their equipment. The workbench is always cluttered with tools and half-finished projects. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find a specific wrench because everything is scattered around. We aren't big on paperwork, but we make sure the jobs get finished. The bypass road gets a lot of traffic, so we see plenty of people passing by. It’s a gritty, hands-on kind of job. We don't try to make it look like anything other than a working machine shop. If something needs doing, we just get our hands dirty and do it. That’s how it is every day here on the bypass road.
