Sri Ramalingeswara Rice & Oil Mills

We are located on the second floor of Parvathi Towers in Pallamraju Nagar. The address is 16-23-38. It’s an office setup but our minds are always on the mills. Sri Ramalingeswara Rice & Oil Mills deals with two different things, so there is always twice the amount of work to keep track of. One phone call is about rice shipments and the next one is about oil drums. It can get a bit confusing if you aren't paying attention. We have a lot of samples sitting on the tables, little bowls of grain and jars of oil. The office gets a bit messy with all the paperwork and sample bags everywhere. We don't have a fancy interior designer. We just put desks where they fit. People come in to settle accounts or talk about new orders. We offer them a chair and maybe a glass of water. It’s a very local way of doing business. We know the market trends because we talk to everyone in the trade. We aren't using any high-tech software to manage things, just some old-fashioned books and a basic computer. It works for us. We’ve been in this building for a while and everyone knows us. We just try to keep the business running smoothly and handle the problems as they come up. It is a long day but we are used to the rhythm of it by now.
