We are located over at D-213 in the Thermal Colony in Kota. It’s a specific kind of place to live and work. Everyone around here is usually connected to the plant in one way or another. Rvunl is just part of the landscape here in Rajasthan. The colony has its own feel, a bit quiet compared to the main city center but it’s got everything we need for our day-to-day. The sun gets really intense in the afternoons, so we mostly stay indoors during those hours. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s a practical space for practical work. We’ve got stacks of files and the usual office equipment that sometimes makes strange noises when it gets too hot. People who work here have been around for years, so we all know each other's families and stories by heart. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit and tie every day unless there’s a big meeting. Usually, it's just cotton shirts and trousers. We handle the tasks that come our way without much fuss. Kota is known for its heat and its industry, and we are right in the middle of that. Sometimes the power goes out, or the water pressure is low, but that’s just part of life in a colony. We keep things moving as best as we can. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be doing it right here at D-213.
