Murali Kirana Store

Our little shop is sitting at 3-2-145 on Ramachandrapuram Road in Draksharamam. It has been our family’s main thing for quite a while now. We don't have a huge variety, but we keep the essentials that most families need every day. The shelves are mostly stocked with local brands that people trust. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about how much we buy at once. During the festivals, it gets really crowded and we usually have to stand out front to help people. The counter is an old wooden table that has been here since the beginning. It’s got some scratches and marks on it, but it works fine for counting out change. We don't do any delivery service or online orders. If you want something, you just come by and pick it out. The road outside can be quite dusty during the dry months, so we are always cleaning the glass jars. We know most of the people who walk through the door. It’s more of a community hub than just a store. We hear all the local news here first. It’s not a fancy life, but it keeps us busy and we like the people in Draksharamam. We just try to be here every day from dawn till late at night.
