Lions Eye Hospital

Out here on Gokavaram Road, things are a bit different than in the middle of the city. It’s a bit of a drive for some, but we’re here for the people who need eye care in this part of town. The hospital is a simple setup. We have the exam rooms and a place for people to sit while they wait. It’s not a very big place, but we manage. Some mornings are cold, and the coffee in the breakroom is the only thing keeping us going. We see a lot of people who work outdoors, so they have a lot of dust and sun issues with their eyes. We try to help them out. The road outside can get a bit dusty too. We spend a lot of time cleaning the windows and the floors. It’s just a regular hospital. No fancy lobby or expensive art on the walls. We have some old posters about eye health that have been up for years. People come in, get their eyes checked, and go home. We don’t make a big fuss about things. If the wait is long, people usually just chat with each other. It’s a bit like a community hub in that way. We just keep the lights on and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It is a quiet life out here on Gokavaram Road, and we like it that way. Just steady work.
