Indigo

Our place, Indigo, is spread out across 228, 229, and 235 on Beach Road in Vakalapudi Village. Being in the Kakinada Rural area means we get a lot of that salt air from the coast. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like it out here. We have a few different plots that we use for storage and the main work area. It’s not a fancy setup, just some sturdy buildings and a lot of outdoor space for moving materials around. The team here is mostly locals from the village or nearby. We spend our days dealing with various goods and making sure the loading docks are clear. The weather can be a bit unpredictable near the beach, so we have to watch out for rain or high winds. We don't have a lot of corporate structure here. If a job needs doing, whoever is free just goes and does it. It's a very direct way of working. Most of our time is spent on the actual physical work rather than sitting behind a desk. We’ve been here long enough that we know the neighbors and the truck drivers who come through pretty well. There’s always coffee or tea going in the small break area. It’s a hard-working environment but we try not to take things too seriously as long as the orders are right. We're just a bunch of guys working by the coast every day.
