Choday Apparow Engg. Works

Choday Apparow Engg. Works has been a fixture at Door No.52-6-27 on Vishna Alyam Street for a long time. Being in Jagannaikpur, we are right in the heart of a neighborhood that has a lot of history. The shop itself is an older building, and you can tell by the way the floor is worn down in the spots where the heavy machines have sat for decades. We do all sorts of engineering tasks here. It’s a lot of manual labor and using machines that require a steady hand. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the temple or just heading about their day. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. Most people know us just by the name on the sign and the fact that we’ve been here forever. Inside, it’s a bit dark and smells like old grease and iron, which is how an engineering works should be, I think. We spend our days taking measurements and working on parts that people bring in. Sometimes the work is repetitive, but there is a certain satisfaction in finishing a piece of metal perfectly. We usually sit outside on the bench for a few minutes during lunch to watch the traffic on Vishna Alyam Street. It’s a simple business, run by people who know their trade and don't feel the need to dress it up with fancy words. We just keep the doors open and get to work every morning.
