Vermaji Electric Engineering

If you go deep into the Friends Colony Industrial Area in Shahdara, you will eventually find Gali No. 8. That is where we are, inside the Shambu Nath Compound. It is a busy place with a lot of different shops and small factories. Vermaji Electric Engineering is basically just us doing our engineering work day in and day out. Our unit numbers are 458 and 466. It can be a bit confusing to find the right door because the compound is so big and there are so many people moving stuff around. We have been here for quite some time now. The air smells like oil and metal most days. It is not a clean, shiny office like the ones you see in the fancy parts of Delhi. We have grease on our hands and we are usually busy fixing something or planning a new job. Shahdara is a tough place to work sometimes because of the traffic and the narrow streets, but we like it here. It is our home base. We know the other guys in the compound and we help each other out when someone needs a specific tool. We don't have a big sign with bright lights. Most people know us by word of mouth or just because they saw us working. We just keep our heads down and do the electrical engineering that needs doing.
