V.K Enterprises

V.K Enterprises is tucked away in the School Block area of Shakarpur, specifically at S-171. If you know the neighborhood, you know it can get pretty crowded and noisy, especially when the schools are letting out. Our place is basically a working space where we handle all sorts of technical stuff. We’ve been in this building for some time now, and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes we’ve scribbled to ourselves. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but that keeps the foot traffic down to people who actually need something fixed. We spend our days dealing with various electronics, mostly computers that have seen better days. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear casual clothes and usually have a box of biscuits open on the table for whenever we get hungry. The floor is usually covered with cables that we’re trying to sort out. It’s a lot of manual work, opening up cases and blowing out the grit that builds up inside. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just answer the phone when it rings and try to help the person on the other end. Shakarpur is a busy place, but once you’re inside our door, it’s just about the task at hand. We like the routine of it all, even the parts that are a bit frustrating. It is just how things go when you are running a local enterprise.
