Tanish Traders

Tanish Traders is located at IX/600 in Krishna Gali No. 2. We are right in the middle of Bada Bazar on Subhash Road. If you’ve ever been to Gandhi Nagar Bazar, you know how packed it gets. There are shops everywhere and people pushing carts through the narrow lanes. Our spot in Krishna Gali is just one of many, but we’ve been here long enough that the regulars know where to find us. It’s a bit of a maze if you are new to Gandhi Nagar. You have to turn off Subhash Road and find the right alley. The noise of the market is constant from morning until the shops close up. We have a small space piled with boxes and ledgers. It’s not very big, so we have to stay organized or we’d run out of floor space. We do a lot of our business right at the front door. The neighbors are all traders too, so we all know each other. Sometimes we grab chai together when things slow down in the afternoon. It is a traditional market vibe here. No fancy air conditioning or glass walls. Just a sturdy door and plenty of work to get through. Being in Bada Bazar means we are always in the thick of things. It’s a gritty, busy place but it’s where we belong. We keep things simple and focus on the day-to-day tasks at the shop.
