Shalu Art

Shalu Art is located over in Ramesh Park, right in the middle of the exports and garments market area in Laxmi Nagar. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people moving around. Our place is at R-54, and it’s usually packed with all sorts of things we’re working on. We’ve been here in the market for a long time, and we’ve seen it change quite a bit over the years. We handle a lot of art-related work for the garment trade, so there’s always a lot of sketching and planning going on. The desks are usually covered in pens, markers, and bits of fabric. It’s a noisy environment with all the other shops nearby, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don’t have a fancy showroom; it’s more of a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes we have to move boxes out of the way just to find a place to sit. People from the market often drop by to talk about orders or just to grab a quick tea. We don’t bother with big ads or anything; the work we do usually speaks for itself among the other shop owners. It’s a hardworking atmosphere in Laxmi Nagar, and we fit right in with the rest of the folks in Ramesh Park. We just keep our heads down and try to finish our tasks before the day ends.
