Saint Gobain Gyproc India Ltd.

We are up on the third floor of the Delhi Police Apartments in Mayur Vihar Phase-1. It’s Flat No. A-01-T. It might seem a bit weird to have a Saint Gobain Gyproc India Ltd office in an apartment complex, but it actually works out fine for us. We handle the administrative side of the gypsum business from here. There is no elevator, or at least it’s broken half the time, so we get a lot of exercise walking up those three floors. The view from the balcony is just of other apartment blocks and some trees. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We deal with a lot of the Delhi-NCR orders and coordinate where the gypsum boards need to go. It’s mostly just quiet typing and the sound of the traffic from the main road nearby. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to ask what we actually do here because they see the name on the door. We tell them it's just plasterboard and ceilings. We don't have any big flashy signs, just our small desk setups and a coffee machine that’s seen better days. It gets a bit crowded when we have more than five people in the room, but we make it work. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation where we keep track of things and make sure the deliveries aren't late. One of the window latches is stuck, so we can't really open it to let the breeze in, but we just use the fan instead.
