Our firm, S. Ramanand Aiyar & Co., is located on the first floor of N 13 in Laxmi Nagar. This part of Delhi is always buzzing with activity, and being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street life below. Laxmi Nagar is known for having a lot of CA firms, and we are just one of the long-standing ones in the area. The office has a bit of an old-school feel to it. We have heavy wooden desks and old filing cabinets that have seen a lot of use over the years. We deal with all the standard stuff like auditing and tax consultancy. It’s a busy place, especially when deadlines are approaching. We have a few staff members who have been with us for a long time. We don’t really go for modern, minimalist office designs. It’s more about having space for all the paper we have to deal with. The 110092 area is quite central for our clients, so people are always dropping in. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with several things happening at once, but that’s just how it goes in a busy Delhi office. We keep the ceiling fans going and focus on getting through the ledger entries. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t do much in the way of promotion. People usually find us because we’ve been in N 13 for so long.
