S. M. Engineers

We have been running S. M. Engineers out of Chilla Village for a while now. If you know the area, we are right across from the MCD Primary School at house number 104. It’s a busy spot with kids running around during the day and people coming and going from Mayur Vihar Phase-1. Our workspace isn't anything fancy, just a solid setup at Khasra No 154 where we handle different engineering jobs. Most days, it’s just us working with the machines and making sure the parts are right. Being in the village means we are close to the local community, which is nice. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor. It can get a bit loud with the equipment running, but that is just how it is here. People usually find us because they live nearby or heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We don't have a big office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s a practical place for practical work. Sometimes the traffic outside the school gets a bit much, especially in the afternoons, but we've gotten used to the rhythm of the street. We just focus on the engineering tasks we have in front of us and try to get things done correctly. It's a small team here and we mostly just stick to our routine in this part of Mayur Vihar. The shop itself has seen a lot of projects come through the doors over the years. We keep our tools organized as best as we can, though it gets messy when we are in the middle of a big job.
