We have been here at 6 360 Geeta Colony for quite a while now. Delhi is always moving fast and this part of the city is no different. You see people rushing by all day long and we just keep the doors open and do our bit. It started as a small idea and grew into this place where we spend most of our waking hours. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint maybe but they hold a lot of history. There isn't much to say about us that isn't visible from the street. We handle various things that people need for their homes or businesses around here. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when deliveries arrive late or the rain starts pouring down the narrow lanes. My father used to say that a business is just a place where you solve problems for your neighbors. That is mostly what we do. We don't have a fancy reception area or people in suits. It is just us and the inventory. Some days are slow and we sit and talk about the weather or the traffic on the main road. Other days we don't even have time to finish a cup of tea. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops come and go but we have managed to stay put. It is a simple life and we like the routine of opening up in the morning and closing up when it gets dark. We will probably be here for a long time yet.
